better - still need some focus - if your macro isn't great you may need to back up a little bit so it can focus. also don't use zoom, move your camera closer. we can practice on sat if you come...
i don't know how great your macro is - may be that you can't get that close - the camera won't focus - try backing up a bit & cropping the photo afterwards...?

I did get up close and wasn't using zoom. I will keep trying
