Maybe I been at the school toooo long!! I loved these babies at the farm. They only told me later that they can spit quite a distance. With a face like that how could you believe such stories????

I'm so glad Spring is in the air!!!

It's good to wake up and see the day is breaking.

I am not sure why I couldn't add a blog for some weeks but all seems OK now.

Looking forward to school holidays - end of Sept. - and I hope I will be better by then.

NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!

Nita busy on her "hot pants" It was a good day and so nice to see every one again, especially Brody and Jorja.

Since then we went out with the clan to a concert and dinner - it was good.

School has started so I am very busy. I love to see the kids again.

The weather has been pretty wet and blowey - we can't complain as we need the rain. Hope our dams are filling up.

Roy adn Kathy will arrive on January 10 and leave 20th. It's very short but better than nothing.

Even with the rain I still have some flowers to make my day happy.

PATIENCE!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if I am learning to have patience.... but it is very frustrating. I can't knit, sew or do anything I would really like to. If this silly arm doesn't get better soon I may have to scream!!!

I now have a pressure bandage on it to get the swelling down - it seems to make it worse not better. Oh well I guess I can just carry on being miserable for a while - hope it does me good to moan about my plight. Poor Dad is taking me to work twice a week he will be exhausted by the time school holidays arrive.

Hope by the next post I am a happier camper

SORRY IT'S TAKEN SO LONG!!!!!!

It has been a while since I did some posting.

Not because I'm lazy I just don't get to the computer.

I haven't done anything exciting - well except falling down stairs, and I was so glad Nita was at home that day to help me.

Oh Nita and I went to the Craft Show and we had a great day. Just as well it was last week and not this - not happy to walk round with a broken arm.

SO MUCH TO DO - SO LITTLE TIME!!!!!!

I just have not had time to sit down and think about a blog.

I thought my school holidays would be good - but instead all I did was work..... how did that happen!!!!!

One evening I walked out side and this was the night sky - couldn't resist grabbing my camera

It's so good to know there are still little things that make us happy.

This is one of my bromeliads - I had 7 of them flowering at once.

As you can see I have just been grateful for the little things in life.

OUR SUNDAY RIDE########

Sunday morning 8am, found the gang going for a ride. The going was good - coming back a little harder as the wind was in our faces. It was peaceful to ride along the sea - and was a good way to start the day.

We then headed to Nita's place for pancakes - I will get used to the American breakfast one day.

Spent the rest of the day doing craft and had a great lunch. Hope Nita has a good birthday - tomorrow.

WHERE DID MARCH GO!!!!!!!!

It seems that the months are just flying away. I haven't been for another bike ride, but I hope on Sunday we will have a short one.

I had planned to do some add jobs during the school holidays but now Dad has asked me to work at the Retirement Village. Oh well we will just have to fit it all in.

HOW TIME FLIES

It's four o'clock Monday morning and I can't believe how fast time goes. From one Monday to the next it seems like just a day.

An awful week with 42.5 for the three days. Can do without that thanks!!!

It ended very well with Mandy staying at Gordon and Marg's place meant I could phone her on Saturday evening, that was sooooo good. She is well and heading to Kenya and Botswana. Hope she has a good time.

I didn't get any cycling done this week-end - if it is cooler I plan to do some this week.

MONDAY - PUBLIC HOLIDAY!!!!!!

Thanks to the three riding buddies for a most enjoyable ride yesterday morning. i really enjoyed it - well except for Donna pushing me over!!!!!!!

Breakfast was good toooo..... and healthy (had to add that)

I took Oscar for a long walk this morning I don't feel sore - we will wait for tomorrow.

ANOTHER BUSY DAY

Last week was very busy with an extra day at work.

Now this week is as bad - the kindy teacher is away and so there is extra work. I need a holiday......

Tried to ride Mandy's bike the balance is OK but I have to get used to the handle bars being wide. Oh well I guess I can only fall.

Heard from Dianne last night, Ali leaves for UK today and they leave on their trip at the beginning of April. No one is talking to each other so the feelings are running high.

It's the end of February already - can't keep up.

This should be read before the last one forgot I had it in draft. ha ha

Today I received a spoon from Knysna, South Africa, that is where Dad and I spent our honeymoon. I love the spoon but it also made me miss you more. Nearly two months have passed , it seems ages since you were here.

SUNDAY............

I'm sure on Sunday I should be doing something more relaxing than this. Done laundry, washed fridge, done some cooking and then washed dishes, and missing Mandy. Now it's time to do the ironing!!!!!!

Seems to me there are more interesting options. I just have to find them.

THURSDAY BLUES

I'm glad I have my flowers to sooth my troubled mind!!!!

It was a very busy day at school - no secretary, two year 5 boys who have a reading ability of a 6 year old, rain at lunch time and a playground that is being rebuilt. No wonder my back feels like I haven't sat down for months.

Looking forward to the week-and and if Barrie and Nita can arrange it my bicycle will be ride able. That of course is if I can still ride a bike after .........(don't be rude) years.
